Barnyard Babies is able to design a visit that suits the individual requirements of nursing homes.

We are happy to visit with just a couple of the baby animals, a few chickens, the whole farm or even a donkey!!!

Elderly people in nursing homes have usually experienced a decreased quality of life and are at risk of declining emotionally due to illness and loss of independence.

Farm animals in particular can stimulate memories from childhood. This can lead to increased attention and verbal interaction and a reduction in anxiety.

Studies have shown that contact with animals not only provides entertainment and tactile comfort, but also aids in the treatment of medical conditions such as high blood pressure and depression.
